Yesterday all the year fours received their own dictionaries Mrs Kearns and her friend Carol told us how to use the dictionaries. We were all excited, while we writing our names on the dictionary Mrs Agnew took a pictures of us.

Trip to Mt. Ruapehu
Trip to Mt. Ruapehu
The best day of my life was when my family and I went on a trip to Mt Ruapehu. My mom and dad were packing up the night before and the next day my family jumped into the car.
As we were driving along my mom said that there were putos(Filipino steamed muffins) for me and my brother. That was so nice because we had to drive for the next five hours. I saw some amazing views like hot springs and a big lake along the way.
We knew we were near because we could see the mountain in the distance. When we got there it was cold and foggy. We went inside and we rode on a chairlift and got to the top and we went skiing. It was freezing cold but it was still so much fun.
Later in the day, when my dad said it was time to go back, I was so sad. Then he said we will be back next year. I can’t wait!!!
